Flash Menu, Joomla extensions is composed of Module (mod_flashmenu.zip) and Component (com_flashmenu.zip).

For this extension to function properly You need to install both, Module and Component.

1. Install Component (com_flashmenu.zip)

2. Install Module (mod_flashmenu.zip

Module mod_flashmenu:

Here you can define menu shape (horizontal, vertical or square)
and dimensions of the menu (height and width)

Component com_flashmenu:

- Publish (menu Item)
- Unpublish (menu Item)
- Config (configure menu system)
- New Icon (add new menu item to flash menu)
- Upload Icon (upload icon to use with menu item)
- Delete Icon

Add new menu item:
Navigate to Components --> Flash Menu --> Configure
(here you can see all items that are included in flash menu)

Add/Upload New Icon:

- Navigate to Components --> Flash Menu --> Configure
- Click on the Upload Icon button (upper right)
- Select icon file to upload and click Upload Icon (gif,jpg and png)

Add New Menu item:

- Navigate to Components --> Flash Menu --> Configure
- Click on New Icon (upper right)
- In image field enter icon name (from Current Icons List Box) that you want to use with this menu item
- Enter tooltip
- In action field enter URL or select article Item from your right
- Click on save (upper right)

Configuring Flash Menu:

Depending on what shape You choose in module settings (horizontal, vertical or square), You will need to configure flash menu

Navigate to Components --> Flash Menu --> Configure

Click "Config" button (upper right)

Flash Menu Configuration Values:

Icon size (32x32 , 48x48, 64x64 , 128x128 , 256x256)
Vspacing - Space between Icons when there is more then one row (Vertical or Square Menu)
Hspacing - Space between Icons in a row
X - Position to show menu icons from Left
Y - Position to show menu icons from Top
Frameborder - Border around flash menu

Free Version contains flash menu with white background only.

This is not working. I just get an error bar whenever I configure the component. The module displays images from another module and the module calls itself "falsh menu."

I cannot upload or assign an existing icon. When I configure the module to be vertical it displays as horizontal.

PLEASE HELP.

Very sad. It looks like a great module and hoped it would not be too good to be true but I guess it is.

everytime i try to upload package file to install it, it shows this error :

* JFolder::create: Could not create directory
* Warning! Failed to move file.

it applies to both of component and module files, please help

Very nice menu. Amazing work. But if somone needs to have two different flash menus? what can he do? reinstalling the module-component will work?

does not align itself vertically! even when square chosen, it only shows in 2 rows even when there r 6 or more icons. what can I do?

I have created a horizontal menu that works beautifully. Now I want a vertical menu on the same website but with different links and logos. How do I do this?

I can copy the module but there seems to be only one component that serves both.
