Joomla Component BMI and Body Fat Percentage (com_wst_bmi) calculator can calculate the Body Mass Index (BMI) and also the Body Fat Percent, the Ideal Weight and the Health Risk classification.

These calculations are obtained by the information provided from a person’s weight, height, age and gender.

One of the great feature is that the user is always able to see the weight and length in both Imperial and Metric systems.

You can use your business logo or an image you like in calculator header, just replace image file in components/com_wst_bmi/images with your image. ( Image / Logo size must be 125 x 30 pixels)

This Joomla Component has easy to use interface. The user must fill in all fields in order to receive accurate calculation.

To use our component on your website, you just need to publish it to desired menu item .

To do that use this example:

Good day! The component works only when off SEF URL's. How to enable the component with the SEF URL's? Thank you.

I installed this in Joomla 2.5, added it to the menu but when I go to the page I just get a black box where the calculator should be. It works fine looking at your demo so it is not my browser. Help?

Can you please tell me do you have sef urls enabled in joomla global configuration?

Yes, I did. Disabled it and now it works. Do I have to keep those off or is there a fix for SEF URL's to be on?

To me it is the same, is there any solution?

I'm not sure about the values, because the women calculator part gives results 5-10% higher than normal. I recommend the usage of the Robinson forumula, if possible ofc.
As reference I'm using this site for now:

Thanks again !

Great ! It worked. Now it starts in italian. Thanks again !

Since I'm a noob with this menu type of component, I'm in difficulty changing the font size and color ... I will try to define a CSS style for it.

Great work and thanks again !
