Flash based Joomla Module "Flash Menu".
Horizontal,Vertical and Square Menu, Icon format (PNG, GIF, JPG), IconSize 256x256, 128x128, 64x64,48x48 or 32x32, A special glow effect.
This Extensions is licensed under the GPLv2. Flash Menu, Joomla extensions is composed of Module (mod_flashmenu.zip) and Component (com_flashmenu.zip).
For this extension to function properly You need to install both, Module and Component.

1. Install Component (com_flashmenu.zip) 

2. Install Module (mod_flashmenu.zip


Module mod_flashmenu:


Here you can define menu shape (horizontal, vertical or square)
and dimensions of the menu (height and width)

Component com_flashmenu:
- Publish (menu Item)
- Unpublish (menu Item)
- Config (configure menu system)
- New Icon (add new menu item to flash menu)
- Upload Icon (upload icon to use with menu item)
- Delete Icon
Add new menu item:
Navigate to Components --> Flash Menu --> Configure
(here you can see all items that are included in flash menu)
Add/Upload New Icon:

- Navigate to Components --> Flash Menu --> Configure
- Click on the Upload Icon button (upper right)
- Select icon file to upload and click Upload Icon (gif,jpg and png)
Add New Menu item:


- Navigate to Components --> Flash Menu --> Configure
- Click on New Icon (upper right)
- In image field enter icon name (from Current Icons List Box) that you want to use with this menu item
- Enter tooltip
- In action field enter URL or select article Item from your right
- Click on save (upper right)
Configuring Flash Menu:
Depending on what shape You choose in module settings (horizontal, vertical or square), You will need to configure flash menu

Navigate to Components --> Flash Menu --> Configure

Click "Config" button (upper right)
Flash Menu Configuration Values:



Icon size (32x32 , 48x48, 64x64 , 128x128 , 256x256)
Vspacing - Space between Icons when there is more then one row (Vertical or Square Menu)
Hspacing - Space between Icons in a row
X - Position to show menu icons from Left
Y - Position to show menu icons from Top
Frameborder - Border around flash menu

Commercial Version
Free Version contains flash menu with white background only.

This is not working. I just get an error bar whenever I configure the component. The module displays images from another module and the module calls itself "falsh menu." 
 
I cannot upload or assign an existing icon. When I configure the module to be vertical it displays as horizontal. 
 
PLEASE HELP.

Very sad. It looks like a great module and hoped it would not be too good to be true but I guess it is.

I install component and module, enabled module too. 
 
I see there is 6 icon for default and all file is in the folder... 
 
But I can't see the menu in my site... what am I forgot to do?

16. Vertical Menu problem

This is a great menu, however, vertical menu doesnt work as expected.  
I configure it as instructed for 64x64 icons. 
In the module I configure it to be 128px by 600px. 
In the vertical setup, no matter what i try, the menu puts two icons per row. I can make a work-around i suppose by butting in dummy icons for positions 2,4,6,8,10,etc, but thats not ideal. 
Is there something I can go modify to allow 1 icon per row?

Love this I noticed the Folder creates a second sub folder hence why it doesnt work for most people. 
Just move the icons up a level and should be fine. 
Any Idea if we could maybe change the font on this would be a great addition IMO.

22. Limited use but looks good.
Vertical menus do not work and you can only have 1 of these menus per Joomla site. The module is called "falshmenu" after installation as mentioned previously over a year ago. Don't like the idea of paying for a specified background color that cannot be changed from the config page. Also, after instllation, icons + tooltips would not display until I activated the border (on then off) on both IE8 and FF3.5.3. If all you want is one horizontal menu on a white background then this is fine and looks good.

24. Problem with Virtuemart?
This is a great module ! I like it. 
But, It is NOT compatible with Virtuemart. When I clicked Virtuemart menu, All Flash images were gone substituted with Other weird image. 
 
I use it on my bottom menu, Looks great, works perfectly. It's only with virtuemart that it gives me problem...Could u figure that out? I use Joomla 1.5.14 and Virtuemart 1.13 Stable versions

Hi I am new to Joomla , installed and configure stander menu bar vertical in breadcrumbs and it was working fine with default icons , so I then delete all icons and upload my own(64x64 png) reconfigure and now just the old icons is showing but under the component menu it is just showing my new icons ??? how do I get rid of default icons.
