In this article, we will show you how to display Joomla 1.5 Component on front page.

Step 1: Install Joomla 1.5 Component

Step 2: Navigate to Menus --> Main Menu  (just an example)

Step 3: Click on the "New" button (upper right)

Step 4: From the "Select Menu Item Type" tree, click on the Component that you would like to display.

Step 5: In "Menu Item Details" enter Title and Alias and click on "Save" (upper right)
Also make sure that the "Published" is set to "Yes", "Access Level" to "Public"

Now, navigate to frontpage, and under the Main Menu you will have newly created menu item with "Title" that you entered in Step 5.

7. Display in article?
Is there any way to display the images within the article? Seems a bit of over kill to have to create a menu item for every galley. Is there another extension that has this facility?

9. Background Issue
Thanks for the download. It works great with one exception.
It neither lets me change the background using a direct URL, or file name only!
Is there a particular command, or folder where I should save my file? Thanks for your help.
