Description:

is a flash & php based shout box. It uses flat text file database to store entries instead of MySQL. This shout box loads the newest entries first and loads 10 entries per pages. It has a very nice flash interface with advanced form validation. Besides shouters can bold, italic, underline their entries shouts. ---------------------------------------------------------------- CHANGE THE CHMOD OF THE shouts.html TO 777 You can find "shouts.html" in modules/mod_sbox directory Without this the php script wouldn't able to write down the shouts in that file. Installed the mod, published it, changed the shouts.html to 777. loaded type in my name, email and message...post it...and NOTHING SHOWED UP. CONS: doesn\\\'t load the username from the logon. users had to call in asking how to use. may be the entry should change to enter name here... |

excellent shoutbox...for people that dont know, to remove unwanted posts access the shouts.html file on your server and edit the posts there |

Unfortunately, this module does not seem to support international keyboard layout - especially German keyboardlayout. So it\\\'s impossible to type special chars like @ Д Ц. That\\\'s why the usage fails when typing the e-mail in the input form. |
