Specify Year, Month and Day to countdown to, and the timer will display how many Days, Hours, Minutes and Seconds is left. You can also specify text message that will be displayed on the countdown timer.

Although it is not a must, it is better to put a link back to this site "Joomla extension by Webmaster-tips.net " on your website if you can. This Joomla 1.5 module is licensed under the GPLv2.0.
(This extension requires registration to download)

Navigate to Extensions --> Module Manager and select mod_countdown

Set up the countdown module parameters.

When you finish with parameters, select position where you want to display countdown module and click save.

2. Nice Module
Thanks for this module. Real easy to use, but I do have one problem/question. If you look at http://69.16.238.32/~enufisen/ you'll see the timer is narrower then the breadcrumbs position and I therefore have black borders on both sides. Can you help fix this? Thanks TICG. P.S will check back here in a day or so for an update.

5. Nice looking, offset option suggested
This module is a very nice looking and is easy to use. Unfortunately I am looking for one that includes the ability to either set the target time to the hour or will provide an time-zone 'offset' parameter. Either one would work. Adding the ability to adjust the time by x hours would be a significant improvement.

6. Thanks but...
This is a great module but need a few things more PLEASE!!!

1. If the width is greater than 180 it shows a black background which is probably the background colour of the Flash file, can this be changed to tranparent?

2. The module is aligned left, can you add the option of centre and right too?

3. It counts down to midnight and not the exact time of the event, my fishing tournaments start at 7am and it would be "nice" if it would count down to the exact second instead of 7 hours early.

Thanks again for a great module.

8. Timer?
Hi there, is there a way for us to manually set the time to which we need the countdown to count down to?
I need the countdown to count to 18:00 on 11 June 2010 for the Soccer World Cup in South Africa. This is the best looking countdown timer - and i'd really like to use it.

Any ideas?

16. Error displaying 11 & 10 days
There seems to be a problem with display 11 days and 10 days.

Instead of showing 011 or 010 it displays 0011 and 0010 which results in the rest of the countdown clock being misaligned.

This is only a minor bug, but does need fixing.

Otherwise, excellent module.

Thank you

18. Nice countdown - Set time offset
Thank you for making this countdown available! It looks very nice!

A valuable addition would be a variable to have a time offset. Fow now I've hacked it in countdown.swf using Swix (www.swixkit.com): Find last entry ConstantPool, then the second Subtract and add lines after that

which is 19 hours in milliseconds (19*60*60*1000).
